Once Upon a Shooting Star is the shortened version of an ongoing storyline. The story takes place in Planet-III, which is where the new humans, Gods and Stars live.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ Backstory
It has been thousands of years since Earth got completely demolished. While the exact reason is not known, the most common rumor is that Gods punished the old humans because of the harm they caused to themselves and other lifeforms, in other words, because of their sins.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ Story
In this VN, you will be playing as Arla, who is a resident at Planet-III. The game focuses more on the daily life in Planet-III as well as Arla and his friend Adhara.

>Character and backstory driven gameplay with not a lot of choices, but lots of dialogue

This game was made within a month or less, and is my first VN experiment! It was originally made for a school project, using a lore that I already had. Because of my nonexistent coding knowledge and limited time, I was only able to deliver a shortened version of the story with lots of backstory so the world I had created could be understood better, if not fully.
There is a lot I have in mind and written for this story, which hopefully I will deliver once I learn RPGmaker. I hope you will be there to support me during this process and in my future projects.

Amazing game. Brilliant story telling. I love the artistic desicion you took to make everything look so pixel-y and shiny. It's such a small detail but i loved that you replaced menu options with "dream" "remember" and "wake up", I think it goes along really well with your stories theme. Some aspects reminded me of Houseki no Kuni and Hylics, two things i REALLY LOVE. I enjoyed everything overall and I will be looking foward to future games keep up the amazing work and creativity!!!!!!
LOVE THE COLORS AND VISUALS THEYRE SO GORJUS!! THE LORE THE WORLD BUILDING!! I wish it explored the closeness between the characters a bit more but I think that's just cause the short playthrough left me wanting more. I'm def looking forward to your future vns <3
